Description:

Our client, a dedicated organization committed to community development and social services, is seeking a RESIDENT AND COMMUNITY SERVICES COORDINATOR II to join their team. As a RESIDENT AND COMMUNITY SERVICES COORDINATOR II, you will be part of the Community Support Department supporting families and individuals through various programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, strong organizational skills, and proactive communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: RESIDENT AND COMMUNITY SERVICES COORDINATOR II

Location: Oakland, CA

Pay Range: $52.01 hourly

Shift: Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

  • Provide direct case management services to families and individuals, focusing on employment, career development, and financial literacy.
  • Support families through referrals to partner agencies and conduct regular follow-up to ensure ongoing assistance.
  • Manage and coordinate specific departmental programs and activities to maximize community impact.
  • Develop outreach, marketing, and educational materials to promote program awareness and engagement.
  • Organize community events, train staff, volunteers, and interns, and evaluate program outcomes to improve service delivery.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in sociology, psychology, social work, or a related field with relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of case management practices, social services resources, and outreach techniques.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple programs and supervise staff.
  • Ability to prepare professional reports and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to community service.
