About the Role:

As an Administrative Receptionist at CBRE, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall workplace experience by performing essential administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include warmly greeting visitors, efficiently managing calls, arranging meeting spaces, and executing various other duties that contribute to a welcoming environment.

This position falls under the Workplace Experience function, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service to clients and visitors in our designated office space.

What You'll Do:

  • Receive and direct incoming calls, ensuring they reach the appropriate personnel or voicemail.
  • Welcome clients, applicants, and visitors, issuing visitor passes and parking validations while adhering to security protocols.
  • Organize and prepare meeting and conference rooms, including room setups, catering orders, and necessary technological support. Coordinate requests for building and housekeeping services as required.
  • Execute general clerical duties, such as distributing office faxes and packages, and managing the ordering of office supplies.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and freight. Arrange messenger services when necessary. Facilitate hospitality services for guests, including transportation, tickets, and reservations.
  • Utilize existing procedures to resolve straightforward issues while following guidelines closely.
  • Contribute to your team's success by adhering to defined procedures and processes with oversight and guidance.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED coupled with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to follow established routines and meet work standards effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for clear and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.

California Candidates: The hourly pay for the Receptionist position is $27.00. Compensation offered will be determined by the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role includes benefits such as 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
