We are a dynamic and fast-growing company committed to creating environmentally friendly solutions for food security./ppWere looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician Professional to join our growing team at a startup fertilizer production facility. In this role, youll be the central hub for coordinating and executing maintenance activities, ensuring that our equipment stays reliable, safe, and efficient at our Fremont facility. Youll work closely with Fertilizer Production Technicians, the RD team, and site leadership to minimize downtime and maximize productivity./ppAs our Maintenance Technician, youll be responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance at the plant to ensure our reactors, pumps, tanks, motors, sensors, and other production equipment operate at peak performance./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliCoordinate and prioritize corrective maintenance tasks based on urgency and production impact/liliKitting of maintenance jobs prior to their start to reduce delays/liliCollaborate with production technicians to identify recurring issues and plan long-term solutions/liliMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts usage/liliCoordinate and interface with external maintenance contractors as needed/liliSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives/liliEnsure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations/liliAdjust plans and schedules in real-time to respond to equipment failures or production changes/li/ulpQualifications/pulliAssociate degree or higher in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience as a maintenance mechanic/liliStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing or chemical plant/liliExcellent communication and coordination skills/liliAbility to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a startup environment/liliComfortable working around chemical processing equipment and wearing appropriate PPE/liliAbility to wear a respirator and lift heavy equipment when needed/liliForklift or scissor lift experience is a plus/liliStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail/liliTeam-oriented with good communication skills/liliWillingness to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment/li/ulpBenefits/pulliCompensation: $40- $50/lili3 weeks of paid vacation/lili7 company holidays and 4 floating holidays/liliMedical and Dental insurance/liliParental leave/lili401 (k) plan with matching/li/ul/div
