The role will serve as the owners representative on a complex public project, requiring strong K-12 experience and the ability to manage planning, design, and construction while overseeing schedule, budget, and stakeholder coordination. This position offers hands on involvement in a high-profile assignment with the opportunity to shape project delivery from inception through completion./ppstrongEssential Duties Responsibilities:/strong/pulliOversee a large project team or multiple small project teams (or whole program) by supervising the appropriate communications with the client management and control of the scope, cost, and schedule objectives for the project (or program) as a whole./liliBring new business opportunities to the firm through performance excellence and positive client relationship management./liliMaintain monthly project budgets for current and forecasted expenditures./liliBe responsible for monthly billing and projections./liliLead the development of staff through supervisions, training, coaching, and mentoring./liliAnticipate issues and help team members and partners avoid and recover./liliDevelop and oversee RFPs for consultants and contractors./liliDevelop and facilitate owner consultant, Architect, GC RFPs./liliObserve potential internal/external conflict and implement proactive solutions to mitigate conflict./liliTrain junior team members with a focus on building technical skills and competencies./liliOther duties as assigned./liliAttendance at work during normal business hours./li/ulpstrongKnowledge Skills Required:/strong/pulliExperience overseeing multiple project teams (whole program) of various sizes./liliDemonstrated ability to create and maintain positive client relationships./liliAbility to maintain monthly project budgets./liliExperience developing RFPs for various scopes providers./liliDemonstrated experience mentoring and training junior team members./liliManage and monitor team members activity in alignment with organizational goals./liliDelegate while providing clear instructions and ongoing feedback./liliMonitor metrics and course correct as necessary while holding self and others accountable./liliProvide feedback to senior leaders and clearly communicate organizational direction to team members./liliBuild relationships with key internal resources (peers, direct reports, senior leaders)./liliCreate development opportunities and plans for direct reports and teams; provide ongoing feedback./liliAbility to begin to move from project tasks focus to more business mentality./liliDemonstrate leadership traits and represent company values in a client facing capacity./li/ulpstrongPreferred Education and Experience:/strong/ppEducation: BS in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field/ppExperience: 10+ years of PM experience overall including management./ppPreferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEEDry Exempt/ppPrevious K-12/ DSA project experience required./ppThe salary range for this full-time role is $144,300.00-$202,033.36 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package.
