Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an enthusiastic Assembly Specialist! If you have previous manufacturing or assembly experience, a keen eye for detail, and are eager to advance your career, we want to hear from you. This full-time position will be based onsite in Redwood City, California.

Work Schedule

Day Shift: Wednesday - Sunday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Training Period: Monday - Friday (3-4 months)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery to transform raw materials into high-quality finished products.
  • Maintain detailed inventory records and ensure materials are accurately documented.
  • Conduct in-process tests to verify that production meets specified criteria, including hardness, weight, pH, and moisture content.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and product defects to sustain optimal production efficiency.
  • Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics precisely to achieve production goals.
  • Coordinate activities with the materials planning, production, and maintenance teams to manage master schedules effectively.
  • Align workload and equipment capacity with existing inventory levels.
  • Request materials as necessary and manage their delivery timelines.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience or vocational training.
  • Strong knowledge of company policies and manufacturing procedures.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA and other regulations.
  • Capability to engage in repetitive tasks on a computer, including using a mouse and keyboard.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
  • Predominantly sedentary work requiring minimal movement throughout the facility.

Compensation: $23.00 per hour. This pay range is indicative and may vary based on experience, location, and education. We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement plan, and eligibility for paid sick leave and other time off in accordance with applicable laws.
