RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be available to work weekdays from 7:30AM to 4:30PM.

• Take food orders from customers, including Pixar employees and visiting guests, accurately entering them into the point-of-sale system, and handling credit card payments with care.

• Prepare coffee-based beverages upon request (training will be provided) and serve pastries and other ready-to-eat food items.

• Maintain cleanliness in the work station, display cases, and equipment.

• Ensure a tidy dining room area and restock supplies as necessary.

• Adhere to established Café guidelines regarding guest service, food safety, maintenance, and space cleanliness at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with high-quality food is essential.

• Strong customer service background is a must, showcasing a positive, upbeat, and personable demeanor.

• Ability to communicate clearly with management, kitchen staff, and guests.

• Demonstrated excellence in guest service: reliability, consistency, and courtesy are key.

• Previous experience with point-of-sale systems is required.

• Experience in catering and events is a plus.

• A general understanding of common computer software and web browsers to navigate internal company resources.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Effective verbal communication skills.

• Able to stand continuously for four or more hours.

• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.

• Able to use hands continuously for tasks such as entering orders, serving, pouring, and restocking supplies.

The hiring range for this position is $36,465.00 to $47,190.00 per year. Actual base pay will consider factors like internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate's relevant experience and skills.
