Maximus is seeking a Bilingual Customer Outreach Representative (English/Spanish) to join our team! In this role, you will be the face of Medi-Cal managed care in California, dedicated to educating and enrolling Medi-Cal beneficiaries into managed care health plans.

**This position is onsite at our San Francisco, CA location.**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build strong customer relationships, ensuring their engagement and progress.
  • Collaborate with customers to achieve program goals and maintain eligibility for services.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for customers.
  • Provide program knowledge, assisting customers through the application process from enrollment to benefit allocation.
  • Help customers access services aligned with program objectives, including educational training, medical support, and more.
  • Follow up with customers to address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Work with team members to resolve participant issues.
  • Maintain accurate case notes for customer interactions and document related activities.
  • Share updates on outreach efforts with the project staff.
  • Report barriers affecting customer engagement to project staff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED and 0-6 months of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
  • Valid CA Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of the local community.
  • Willingness to travel throughout counties as necessary.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Six months of customer service experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in presentation or public speaking.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with low-income and diverse populations.
