Maximus is excited to announce an opportunity for an Eligibility and Enrollment Expert! This remote position is key in providing expert consulting services related to SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid programs. As part of our team, you'll leverage your technical skills and industry knowledge to support Integrated Eligibility systems, driving forward our initiatives for modernization within Health and Human Services (HHS).

Please note that this position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress and provide necessary support.
  • Help leadership ensure projects meet specifications while staying on schedule and within budget.
  • Work hand-in-hand with management to develop and maintain essential work plan documents.
  • Keep track of project status and deadlines.
  • Manage relationships with project staff involved in various projects.
  • Prepare regular status reports detailing work progress, target dates, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate meetings and reviews routinely.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and corporate policies.
  • Offer ad hoc support to project teams, developers, and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Assist in responding to federal partner requests for information.
  • Consult on federal or state initiatives and potential policy changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience is essential.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with CMS Medicaid Streamlined Modular Certification (SMC) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with researching state Medicaid, federal, and state eligibility regulations is required.
  • Proven experience designing Medicaid enrollment and reconciliation solutions.
  • Ability to engage with clients/users to comprehend their specific eligibility processes.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within the last five years is mandatory.
  • Willingness to work shifts that support the Alaska Standard time zone is required.

Home Office Requirements:

  • Internet speed of 20 Mbps or higher.
  • Reliable internet connection via Wi-Fi or a Category 5 or 6 ethernet cable.
  • Must reside permanently in the Continental U.S.
