Note: You must reside in Alameda County and be willing to work onsite at our Oakland location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, monitoring their engagement and progress.
  • Collaborate with customers to meet program goals and ensure eligibility for services.
  • Conduct workshops and deliver training services effectively to participants.
  • Provide extensive program knowledge, guiding customers through application processes from enrollment to benefit allocation.
  • Assist customers in accessing services that align with program objectives, such as education, medical support, and more.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are being met and address any questions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to resolve participant issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all customer interactions and activities.
  • Share updates on outreach efforts with project staff and report any engagement barriers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED and 0-6 months of relevant work experience.
  • Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
  • Valid CA Driver's License.
  • Familiarity with the local community.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Six months of customer service experience.
  • Preferred experience in presentation or public speaking roles.
  • Experience working with low-income and diverse populations is a plus.
