🚗 What You'll Do

You'll be a key player in ensuring our electric vehicles operate at peak performance. Your day‑to‑day impact includes:

  • Executing repair orders with accuracy, efficiency, and pride in craftsmanship

  • Diagnosing malfunctions using schematics, diagnostic tools, and EV‑specific technology

  • Collaborating with the parts department to secure required components

  • Tagging and saving parts for warranty or technical review

  • Inspecting vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs

  • Communicating clearly with the shop foreman regarding timelines, additional work, or repair challenges

  • Documenting all work performed and recommended services

  • Road‑testing vehicles when needed

  • Staying current with manufacturer training, technical bulletins, and recall information

  • Mentoring and supporting fellow technicians

  • Reporting equipment issues and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

  • Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

  • Operating tools and equipment responsibly and reporting safety concerns immediately

🔧 What You Bring

Your expertise helps keep our EV fleet running smoothly. We're looking for:

  • Strong automotive troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills

  • Experience with electric vehicle systems and components

  • Ability to diagnose complex repair issues

  • Proficiency with diagnostic testing tools and software

  • Solid preventive maintenance experience

🎓 Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional repair shop

  • Proven ability to meet productivity, efficiency, and quality KPIs

  • Electric Vehicle certification from ASE or an OEM (required)

Work Environment

Work at the depot in San Francisco, supporting the maintenance of incoming vehicles. A certified technical trainer will provide training, including a two-week program in Arizona.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
