Light Industrial Assembler

This role involves the manufacturing and assembly of precision test and measurement equipment. Key duties include calibrating and testing products, assisting with inventory, and supporting team members with material handling, requiring the lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble printed circuit boards into enclosures.
  • Log quality control information for test and calibration processes.
  • Label products accurately.
  • Package products for shipping, receive packages, and process accordingly.
  • Assist purchasing and shipping departments with various projects.
  • Work on inventory control and participate in inventory counts.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with electro-mechanical systems and PCB troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in electrical assembly and testing.
  • Ability to perform quality and inventory control.
  • Mechanical inclination and detail orientation.
  • Hand dexterity for assembly, calibration, and packaging tasks.
  • Capability to follow both verbal and documented instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Self-starter with an inquisitive nature, eager to take the initiative and ask questions.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alameda, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
