QC Technician

The QC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products and processes within a manufacturing environment. This position involves conducting internal audits, handling quality checks, and collaborating with various departments to maintain high standards of production.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits of'ready to close' units and products categorized as 'Ready to close'.
  • Perform internal audits of products in Work-in-Progress (WIP) on work orders that have not been closed out.
  • Execute internal process audits to ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and proper SOP among products and technicians.
  • Conduct internal audits of technician desks, ensuring adherence to 5S, GMP, and GDP.
  • Audit the manufacturing floor to ensure compliance with 5S and GMP standards.
  • Draft and issue Non-Conformance Reports when non-conformances are identified.
  • Update the QC Internal Audit Failure log regularly.
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for quality checks during incoming inspections.
  • Act as the point-of-contact for technicians and leads on quality-related issues in production.
  • Assist buyers in rejecting vendor-related product defects.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned to enhance processes and support continuous growth.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of GDP, GMP, and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in inspection and QC techniques.
  • Understanding of PCB manufacturing and handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with electrical equipment and wiring.
  • Familiarity with Kanban systems.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alameda, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
