PAY RANGE:
$27.50 - $36.37
JOB SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision, responsible for various aspects of recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation and complex issues covering all aspects of Human Resources. Primarily focused on key areas, such as, health and welfare benefits, compensation and leave of absence administration. Acts as a project manager for the implementation of various Human Resources programs and is responsible to ensure that all operations of the benefit and compensation programs are in compliance with all federal and state regulations. Collects and analyses data as necessary, provides guidance to employees, interprets policies, collective bargaining agreements, and benefits and compensation information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for handling and processing all personnel and payroll changes and records.
2. Manages all aspects of the hospital?s leave of absence program.
3. Monitors monthly performance appraisals and professional licensing expiration dates, notifies managers, send reminders and tracks overdue or expired licensing and performance appraisals. Follows up with delinquent performance evaluations. Performs audits and prepares monthly statistical reports in relation to licensing and performance evaluations.
4. Completes documentation and ensures distribution of appropriate paperwork to departments.
5. Interfaces with employees and management in a courteous and professional manner and provides general assistance regarding departmental policies and procedures.
6. Prepares, audits, and organizes all payroll data and changes for the assigned pay periods as received, related to employees? status including anniversary & contractual increases, transfers, and other relevant changes. Processes computer input for newly eligible benefit information and all other benefit changes on existing employees. Maintains accurate records and reports all personnel input.
7. Coordinates with payroll to ensure the accuracy of salary changes and employee deductions.
8. Maintains compensation policies, database, ensuring system accuracy and consistency.
9. Maintains the Human Resources Information Systems.
10. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Required Qualification: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Bachelor?s Degree preferred.
2. Minimum three years of Human Resources experience preferred.
3. A minimum of two (2) years of college in personnel management, industrial relations, psychology, public administration or business administration preferred.
4. Must be familiar with the hospital organization; functions of various departments; current personnel practices and techniques, including review techniques; training methods.
5. Familiar with the labor market.
6. Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour required.
