MEDICAL ARTS PHARMACY is a small business in San Leandro, CA. We are professional, agile and our goal is to find a caregiver that has Pharmacy tech certification and also fluent in Spanish to care for our Spanish speaking patients.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
• Prepare and package medications for distribution
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
• Answer phone calls and provide customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is a plus
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and medication administration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and prescription processing
