Order Picker

We are hiring for an Order Picker for a warehouse in Union City!

Pay Rate: $20-22/hr, varying based on experience.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, Day Shift

Job Responsibilities:

- Accurately pick and prepare orders based on order forms or RF scanner.

- Safely transport materials to the appropriate location in the warehouse or shipping area.

- Inspect merchandise for damage or discrepancies, reporting issues to the supervisor immediately.

- Pack and label items for shipping according to company standards, ensuring that items are secure and properly protected.

- Maintain organized and clean workspaces to maximize efficiency and safety.

- Assist with inventory management, including performing stock checks and updating records as needed.

- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as required.

- Follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Job Requirements:

- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

- Experience with RF scanners and order picking is preferred.

- Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.

- Basic computer skills for inventory and order management.

- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
