As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transit location, you will conduct routine foot patrols across platforms, facilities, and surrounding areas, staying highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will greet riders and staff, respond to questions and concerns, report hazards and suspicious activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a government transit location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment.

Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter trespassing, vandalism, and/or disorderly conduct; report concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.

Complete reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
