Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Agreement Management, Legal Documentation, Negotiation and Agreement Negotiation.
  • Experience with construction contracting and the basis of pricing/methods of measurement on industrial projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor or Master's degree in Law, with an emphasis on Construction or International Law.
  • Experience as an inhouse legal counsel in an international construction company would be a strong asset.
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating (international) commercial agreements on the one hand and corporate secretarial matters (including transactional related work) on the other hand.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal stakeholders and develop the project delivery approach and compensation strategy as they relate to agreement documentation, procurement and processes.
  • Review vendor listing proposed by strategic sourcing team, collaborate with the internal stakeholders in the evaluation, recommendation and shortlisting of vendors for prequalification or request for proposal.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to shortlist vendors to the next phase of the procurement of the process.
  • Meet with vendors, soliciting them to be interested. Coordination of Request for Proposal (RFP) process including documentation and interviews. Negotiate master agreement with vendors ahead of RFP.
