As an Inventory Specialist, you will conduct daily cycle counts of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy. You will perform physical counts, compare them to system records, identify shortages, and update inventory data using Excel and Google Sheets. Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies through auditing transaction histories and physical stock locations will be part of your tasks. You will also clean, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory using 5S principles to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, you will build and set up physical inventory locations, such as racks and shelving, as needed, and assist with inventory cleanup during major operational ramp-up periods. Maintaining detailed documentation and accurate data entry in systems like NetSuite and Oracle will be essential. Collaboration with Production, Shipping, and other departments to reconcile discrepancies and prevent stockouts is expected.

The position is onsite 5 days a week within the shipping and receiving department. You will work in a small, collaborative team of four, fostering a supportive and team-oriented environment. The work shift is from 9 AM to 5 PM.
This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.
