Rotate8 is seeking a candidate to provide administrative and operational support to the Founder/CEO. This position provides an opportunity for career growth in an exciting, fast-paced industry and to be part of new innovative research to better our planet!

Compensation: $18-$24 hourly DOE, 3 weeks PTO annually

Schedule: Full or part-time, Monday-Friday

Applicants must be comfortable commuting to our location in Half Moon Bay, CA, a minimum of 1 day a week.

Role Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Schedule appointments and meetings
• Submit and reconcile expense reports
• Provide general support to visitors
• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, purchasing, record keeping, typing, copying, binding, scanning, printing, data entry, etc.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Coordinate office procedures
• Reply to email, telephone, or face to face inquiries
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail
• Provide polite and professional communication
• Manage LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube and other professional social media platforms

Preferred Experience

• Interest in fields related to robotics and agricultural technology
• Photography and/or video production
• Technical writing, copywriting, social media algorithms
• Working in a dynamic environment while providing reliable support to executives
