What You'll Do:

  • Assist audit teams in conducting comprehensive financial statement audits.
  • Participate in reviewing and verifying financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to the application of auditing methodologies and accounting rules, including GAAP and GAAS.
  • Explore data analysis techniques to identify financial trends and insights.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and disclosures for clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance client relationships and deliver exceptional audit services.
  • Learn to implement internal controls and compliance auditing techniques.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to communicate financial data effectively.
  • Engage in financial transaction analysis to bolster audit objectives.
  • Organize information to support risk identification processes.
  • Develop a solid understanding of accounting policies and reporting standards.
  • Enhance team collaboration through active listening and effective communication.
  • Apply project management skills to assist in coordinating audit tasks and timelines.

What You Need:

  • Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Eligibility to meet CPA exam requirements before starting full-time at PwC.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • This internship is designed for candidates in their third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Preference for a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with external audit processes and methodologies.
  • Skills in financial statement analysis and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and interpretation.
  • Involvement in client management and communication.

The compensation for this role ranges from $29.25 to $48.00 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
