Caregiver Position

Caregiver Compensation: $164-$176/shift; $20.50-22/hour

Caregiver Hours: Eight hour day shifts for immediate start in San Mateo, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Foster City

RAH Home Care Aid requirements for caregiver:

- Caregiver to provide in-home non-medical support for seniors and older adults.

- Caregiver to be 18 years or older.

- 3+ months caregiving experience required.

- Caregiver to have regular access to a vehicle to get to and from client locations.

In compliance with Federal Law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

Caregiver Job Description:

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Medication reminders
• Preparing meals
• Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills
• Performing light housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping room clean, laundry)
• Providing bathing and dressing assistance
• Following patient care plan
• Assisting with transfer and mobility
• Shopping and running errands
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
