Full-Time Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-A) Wanted

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-A) to join our team at a Federally Qualified Community Mental Health Clinic (FQHC) in West Oakland, CA. The clinic is dedicated to offering treatment for the BIPOC community.

Patients at the FQHC have access to:

  • Mental Health & Behavioral Health Services
  • Primary Care Medical Services
  • Physical Therapy
  • Dentistry
  • Registered Dietician
  • Child Care

As an LPCC-A at our organization, you will play a vital role in providing therapy and support to individuals. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive environment for both our clients and our staff, utilizing advanced practices and technologies to deliver exceptional care.

You will be collaborating with other members of the interdisciplinary team. The clinic has a Psychiatrist on Staff who is the Medical Director.

You will be treating adults mainly for:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Grief & Loss
  • Women's Health Issues
  • Anger Management
  • Relationship Issues
  • ADHD
  • OCD

Patient Volume:

You are expected to see about 5 patients a day.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

Salary:

$65,000 to $75,000 per year based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy.
  • Support clients in overcoming personal challenges related to substance use.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records in compliance with regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
  • Educate clients and families on resources and coping strategies.
