Junior Content Producer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an entry-level content producer to join our team and play a crucial role in the production of educational content, both in VR and in accompanying materials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ed-tech, be a self-starter who is excited to learn, and is motivated by Prisms' mission to transform learning for students worldwide. This role will report to the Head of Content Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support VR module production:
  
  • Perform any production tasks required by the team, including research, maintaining and updating content management systems, product testing, and more
  • Collaborate with content leaders, product managers, engineers, and artists through an iterative development process
  
  
• Support the development of curriculum materials:
  • Organize and maintain organizational systems for multimedia classroom materials
  • Update or revise materials as needed
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
  • Work closely with content developers, engineers, artists, and company leadership to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Communicate frequently and effectively
  • Execute on assignments and deliverables with efficiency and punctuality
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Commitment to transforming and reimagining education
• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Basic editing/design ability (short-form video, Canva, simple tools)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional time management skills; ability to prioritize and handle concurrent projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to flexibly meet across time zones (EST and PST)

NICE TO HAVES

• Familiarity with VR hardware and software, such as Pico, Quest, or similar platforms
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira

• Full-time role, based at our San Francisco office
