The Opportunity

The Product Manager is responsible for the development, management, and adoption of robust enterprise data products. In this role, you will shape and implement the evolving data strategy related to data management and usage across multiple functions, including Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Government Affairs.

As a subject matter expert, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend appropriate data product solutions. This role requires building strong partnerships to inform, gain alignment, unlock, and solve complex business challenges, while influencing the data product roadmap.

You will collaborate extensively with affiliate business teams, Compliance, Privacy, regional IT partners, and external data vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy

• Shape and execute the long-term vision, strategy, and standards for data product solutions aligned with organizational objectives, digital transformation goals, and industry trends

Strategic Framework Management

• Develop and maintain business process frameworks for data product health, metadata management, and adherence to industry and enterprise data standards

Stakeholder Liaison and Partnership

• Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Manage demand requests and provide domain and product guidance across functions

Product Lifecycle and Backlog Management

• Partner with cross-functional leadership to prioritize product backlogs
• Deliver enhancements that ensure data quality, usability, integration, and scalability

Governance and Compliance

• Establish and enforce data governance policies, including HIPAA and GDPR
• Apply data mesh and data fabric principles to ensure data integrity, security, and scalability

Performance Measurement and Optimization

• Monitor and measure data product performance and health metrics
• Partner with IT and business teams to identify optimization opportunities and ensure consistent value delivery

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of combined experience in data product management and data-based management, including ownership of pharmaceutical/biotechnology data assets such as:
• HCP / HCO , Claims, EMR/HER, CRM ,Sales etc.
• Proven expertise in end-to-end product ownership, including roadmap definition, technical system integration, and management of complex pharmaceutical data ecosystems
• Strong leadership capability to align and influence cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, and Privacy, ensuring regulatory adherence and product adoption
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical data system performance and health metrics into actionable business insights
• Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology information landscape

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
• Experience working in additional pharma functions such as Commercial Operations, Field Sales, Sales Operations, Account Management, Product Marketing, Market Planning, or Strategic Planning
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (Reltio, Informatica MDM)
• Exposure to cloud and big data platforms (AWS, Hadoop)
• Experience working with Pharmaceutical Commercial data, including sales, claims, specialty pharmacy, and digital/marketing data
• Proven success managing large-scale, complex enterprise initiatives requiring both strategic planning and operational execution
• Expertise in driving product enhancements through measurement and optimization insights
• Advanced knowledge of workflow tools, automation systems, and compliance frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
