Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver to join our team at a small 6-bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with residents and staff in a team-oriented, supportive environment. Our goal is to provide respectful, high-quality care while maintaining a warm, home-like atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to resident care.
• Assist with medication reminders or administration per facility policy.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition or behavior.
• Follow care plans, facility policies, and Title 22 regulations.
• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with other caregivers and staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience preferred (RCFE experience a plus).
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to resident needs.
• Willingness to follow direction and provide consistent care.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass background check and provide references.
• Current TB clearance (or willingness to obtain).
