Office Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and professional Office Assistant to support daily office operations in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining an organized, welcoming, and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-minded, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks while interacting with employees and visitors.

Location: San Francisco, CA 94104 (Fully Onsite)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $20$23 per hour

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support front desk and reception duties, including greeting visitors and directing inquiries
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Stock and organize office, kitchen, and supply areas
  • Order and replenish office and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Assist with paper processing and document handling related to tax and administrative work
  • Support meeting and event setup, including room preparation and catering/lunch orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas and conference rooms
  • Provide general office and facilities support as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in office services, facilities, administrative support, or a similar role (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work fully onsite at the assigned office location
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Polished, professional demeanor with the ability to interact confidently with clients and staff
  • Ability to adapt communication style to diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

Work Environment

This role is based in a professional office environment and requires consistent onsite presence. The position may involve light physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting office supplies, and setting up meeting spaces.
