About the Organization
St. Francis Yacht Club is one of the premier yacht clubs in the world, home to 3,200 esteemed and diverse members, all of whom share a passion for yachting. Located on the shore of the San Francisco Bay, theCity Clubhouse features three unique dining spaces, numerous elegant event spaces and athletic facilities for junior sailors and adults alike. The Club's regatta schedule is one of the most competitive in the world, playing host to 140+ days of racing, including several Grade 1 International regattas.

of boating activities regionally, and a leader of yachting internationally.

Position: Dish/Pot Washer
SUMMARY: Wash and sanitize pots, pans and other kitchen utensils/equipment according to club specifications and standards. Clean and maintain equipment and pot washing, storage and other kitchen areas. Assist in washing wares by operating the dishwashing machine. Complete other special cleaning projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated items according to OSHA and Club requirements.
Set-up and organize workstation with designated supplies and equipment: report shortages to supervisor.
Fill the pot washing sinks with specified amounts of designated chemicals. Ensure the temperature level of each cycle is set to standard.
Retrieve soiled pots, pans and utensils from kitchen areas.
Wash and sanitize all soiled wares. Inspect the cleanliness and condition of all washed wares and rewash items not meeting standards.
Allow washed wares to air dry.
Sort, stack and store cleaned wares in designated areas.
Change pot wash water/chemicals and refill as specified to ensure all wares are properly cleaned.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area throughout shift.
Stock kitchen lines with designated clean wares, utensils and equipment.
Organize and restock work areas for next shift.
Clean spills in kitchen work areas immediately.
Transport mats to outside of club and clean as needed.
Adhere to all Health Department, sanitation and safety regulations as required by the club.
Clean Refrigerators/Freezers, service hallways, service elevators and other items as assigned, which may include mopping and sweeping.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Employees will be required to perform any other job related duties assigned by their supervisor or management. Establishes controls to minimize food and supply waste and theft.
