What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals while helping to deter unauthorized access.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare settings.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and report any unusual activity.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, patients, and emergency personnel as needed.
+ Assist with the implementation of visitor management procedures and support the enforcement of organizational policies related to access control.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.
+ Ability to restrain individuals is required for hospital assignments.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
