Assembly Technician

Description:

A new AI robotics startup company based out of San Francisco is looking to hire 5 Assembly Technicians to help assemble hardware to develop robots and related components.

Day to Day Activities
• Mechanical assembly using basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, etc.)
• Check your inventory to ensure you have the right materials on hand
• Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners using hand, air, and power tools
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
• Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity
• Performs step-by-step instructions for quality assurance
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Report on your output for the day

Required Skills & Experience
• Mechanical assembly skills are required
• Hand tool experience required (screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, etc.)
• Attention to detail and focus on quality
• Ability to effectively take direction and implement changes quickly
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
