These team members play a critical role in providing legal services for the firms clients by producing the forms and other documents needed to accurately complete cases for a high volume of individuals and companies./ppWe are currently looking to add a remote Legal Assistant or Paralegal to the PERM/IV team supporting our Oakland office. Both remote and local candidates will be considered, with a preference for those in the Oakland area./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliBuilding on and applying a deep understanding of all steps of the PERM, I-140, and AOS processes, including drafting job descriptions and employment verification letters, submitting forms and requests to the Department of Labor, and working with third-party providers throughout the recruitment process/liliDrafting and organizing forms and documents as directed by the Team Manager/liliCommunicating with clients regarding visa instructions, approval notices, and welcome packages, alongside attorneys and more senior team members/liliAssisting legal and administrative teams in requesting and organizing documents for new processes/liliProcessing and organizing government correspondence, including receipt notices, approval notices, and requests for evidence/liliEntering data accurately and consistently into internal data management platforms/liliWorking on other projects as directed by the Team Manager or attorney/li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliBachelors degree with strong academic record (STEM majors preferred)/lili3-5 years of PERM experience required/liliSuperb attention to detail/liliStrong analytical, critical and quantitative thinking skills/liliExcellent time management and organization skills/liliDemonstrated ability to utilize office software accurately and efficiently/liliWillingness to adapt to and embrace updates in office technology/liliAbility to communicate clearly and professionally/li/ulpInterested applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and a writing sample.
