As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a shelter location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting the people-first culture of Allied Universal. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual conditions.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols or while on duty.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, or site updates.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.

+ Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management to help maintain a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
