The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of machine setup, blueprint interpretation, and precision tolerances, contributing to both manual and robotic production processes./ppResponsibilities:/pulliPrecision Welding: Execute high-quality MIG and TIG welds on various materials, including aluminum, steel, and thin-gauge stainless steel./liliMaterial Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in welding both thick and thin gauge materials with a focus on proper penetration and heat control./liliOperational Setup: Set up and operate multiple machines and processes within the department; perform tweaking and adjustments to parts to ensure alignment with specifications./liliTechnical Interpretation: Utilize intermediate knowledge of weld symbols and complex print interpretations to guide fabrication./liliHigh-Tolerance Fabrication: Maintain strict quality standards, consistently holding tolerances within .030. Process Systems Knowledge./liliRisk Mitigation: Proactively identify and minimize safety risks to prevent workplace injuries./liliQuality Assurance: Monitor for defects during production and suggest preventative measures to improve future output and reduce waste./liliAdaptability: Follow precise written and verbal instructions while maintaining the flexibility to support other departments as operational needs shift./li/ulpWorking hours: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM/ppSkills: Three to five years of welding experience. Preferred. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred. Vocational welding classes a plus./ppEducation: High School/ppExperience: 1-4 years/ppQualifications: Intermediate proficiency in MIG TIG welding. Specialized experience in Aluminum MIG and thin-gauge Stainless TIG is highly preferred. Working knowledge of robotic interfaces and programming. Proven ability to work with high-precision tolerances (.030).
