Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Oversee a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including preparing and executing effective case strategies.
• Litigation Support: Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial, including drafting and filing motions, conducting depositions, and attending hearings.
• Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on case law, precedents, and insurance policies to build a strong defense and advise clients on potential risks and strategies.
• Client Communication: Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing updates on case progress, discussing strategies, and managing client expectations effectively.
• Settlement and Negotiation: Negotiate settlements when appropriate to protect client interests and avoid costly litigation.
• Court Appearances: Attend virtual or in-person court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as required.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense, with a proven track record of handling cases from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of California insurance and tort laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and client-focused service.
