Job Title: Customer Service Specialist I

Location: South San Francisco, CA 94080

Pay rate: $30.22 $34.63/hr

Work schedule:

  • Working hours between 6:00 AM 5:00 PM (8-hour shift)
  • Training (first 8 weeks): 7:30 AM 4:00 PM, fully on-site
  • Hybrid after training: 2 days remote / 3 days on-site (TuesThurs anchor days)

Overview

The Customer Service Specialist I supports customer operations by handling complex inquiries and escalations while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to operate in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. The position is hybrid after the initial training period and involves collaboration, mentoring, and service improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and escalations
  • Provide expert-level support in customer interactions
  • Train and mentor customer service associates
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify service improvement opportunities
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Manage customer complaints efficiently

Skills & Experience
  • 05 years of experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage and resolve customer complaints

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced training in customer support

Interview Process
  • Two rounds (virtual)

Working Model
  • Fully on-site for the first eight weeks
  • Hybrid thereafter (2 remote / 3 on-site)
