Our client, a leading logistics organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an integral part of the warehouse operations team supporting efficient and safe handling of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Union City, CA
Pay Range: $24.00 per hour
Shift: 8am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday
What's the Job?
- Scan barcodes for accurate tracking and inventory control
- Open boxes and prepare materials for processing
- Move pallets manually and with a pallet jack
- Lift and carry cartons weighing up to 40 lbs. throughout the shift
- Load, unload, and stage materials for shipment or storage
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
- Experience using pallet jacks and barcode scanners is a plus
- Dependable and punctual with the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Steady work schedule on the 2nd shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM)
