Kaizen Coordinator

We are looking for a Kaizen Coordinator to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Manufacturing Manager and is based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies
• Facilitate Kaizen workshops, Gemba walks, and process improvement events on the production floor
• Analyze current-state processes, identify waste, and implement sustainable process improvements
• Implement and sustain 5S standards through daily audits and competitions
• Create and maintain value stream maps to improve material and process flow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, logistics, and engineering
• Track and report key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
• Build and assemble parts as needed to support manufacturing operations
• Engage employees at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Skills and Experience

• Passion for Continuous Improvement
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in commonly used and specialized software
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in high-paced, changing environments
• 12 years of related experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Must be able to bend, lift up to 10 lbs, walk, and stand for extended periods of time consecutively

Shift: 6pm - 6am, Sun-Tues; and every other Wed
