Mechanical Assembler
We are seeking a dedicated Production/Manufacturing Technician with hands-on expertise in electro-mechanical assembly.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly tasks independently using schematics, drawings, verbal or written instructions.
- Assemble and test avionics components, including PCB assemblies, cable harnesses, and integrated modules.
- Apply precision adhesives and bonding techniques.
- Provide real-time design and assembly feedback to Manufacturing and Quality teams, escalating and resolving build issues through proper channels.
- Follow detailed Manufacturing Process Instructions and strict safety procedures when building assemblies.
- Meet aggressive deadlines and flexibly shift priorities across multiple projects.
- Record and update data accurately.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical PCBA assembly experience.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, drills, and calipers.
- Ability to read and follow basic SOPs and non-technical instructions.
- Experience with cable and harness routing.
- Basic computer skills with MacOS or Microsoft.
- Fabrication or assembly experience with sheet metal and tube assemblies.
- Forklift or rigging experience for moving objects weighing 400+ lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Intermediate-level position requiring 2 - 3 years of experience.
- Electro-mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read diagrams and blueprints.
- Soldering skills are a plus.
- Problem-solving skills, good judgment, and proactivity.
- Strong attention to detail.
Work Environment
This role is based in our facility in South San Francisco, within the Manufacturing team.

This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
