Position Description: Our San Francisco office is currently seeking a part-time, in-person office assistant to join our administrative team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain administrative work experience in a professional services environment. The desired schedule is 23 hours per week (Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday), 9-5pm.

Ideal Candidate: We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-minded person with a creative and collaborative work style.

Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $20/ hour. This is a good faith estimate pursuant to pay transparency laws.

Job Summary: The Office Assistant provides in-person, part-time support to the San Francisco office staff 23 hours per week (Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday) with a variety of duties.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties such as scanning, photocopying, binding documents, shipping activities, and running errands.
  • Serve as back-up for the Front Desk Receptionist, to include answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Stock various supplies, pick up and deliver office mail.
  • Set up conference rooms and clean up after meetings/lunches.
  • Perform kitchen duties including loading/unloading dishwasher and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.
  • Assist Engineering, Accounting, Library/Records, and Marketing Departments on special projects as requested.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and with colleagues at all levels in the organization.
  • Good organization, time management and follow-up skills.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to follow instructions, handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and detail-oriented.
  • Computer proficiency - familiarity with Microsoft Office programs is a plus.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or otherwise transport 40-50 lbs.
