IS Epic Analyst - Dorothy/Comfort - Epic Certification Required

This I.S. EPIC Analyst independently reviews, analyzes, and modifies systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support Epic systems; consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives while relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Education:

  • Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree.
Work Experience:
  • Required - 2 years of Epic experience.
Certifications:
  • Required - Epic certification.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills and ability to independently perform Gap and other analysis, testing and troubling on assigned applications.
  • Knowledge of Epic.
  • Technical integration skills and ability to design and implement technical solutions and processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Project management and organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple demands in fast paced environment and identify next steps on project work.
  • Solid operational or clinical expertise.
  • Ability to travel throughout and between facilities and work flexible hours (weekends/holidays/nights/call).
Job Duties:
  • Independently performs analysis, testing and troubling on assigned applications, resolves tickets/issues, participates in projects, and identifies appropriate next steps for project completion.
  • Provides quality support and troubleshooting to end users while creating documentation to allow others to support the IT solutions and services appropriately.
  • Partners and effectively communicates with assigned customers/end users while escalating appropriate potential concerns to management.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with operations, stakeholders and other IS team members, and works with these groups to determine needs and their associated IS solutions from an integrated perspective.
  • Serves as representative for the team and point of contact/resource for the application.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
