Principal Accountabilities:

• Responsible to oversee the development and application integration services for new software releases to include, testing and deployment support for the IRS Integrated Enterprise Portal (IEP) environment as well as post-production deployment efforts in preparation for transition to production operations.
• Provide technical labor to support development and testing for new software releases related to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form(s) capabilities and Reporting Data Delivery support and testing activities.
• Collaborate with the AD Technical Integration Organization (TIO) to provide strategic technical direction and ensure consolidation for tactical technical issues.
• Deliver support for infrastructure management and design to support security protocols, firewalls, identity management tools, virus scanning, host-based intrusion detection, monitoring, and host-based scanning tools.
• Configure hardware and environment, manage data imports/exports and update technical documentation as needed, Support the CI/CD process, ensure seamless integration from development to deployment with immediate error detection.
• Actively involve in technical integration activities, including upgrading configurations, delivery automation, backlog grooming sessions, and risk minimization.
• Review the current system and process requirements, risks, design assumptions, and design documentation, use the knowledge gained to produce detailed technical designs
• Provide subject matter expertise on different tax processing systems within the IRS, including submission processing systems, corporate data systems, compliance and case processing systems, and modernized systems.
• Adhere to current IRS policies and procedures while supporting appropriate levels of security and agile decision-making to incorporate new technologies and practices.
• Support the development and maintenance of the AD production baseline to ensure ready-to-use life cycle environments with accurate software configuration management for multiple releases
• Provide services and support for the IT requirements that touch these IRS systems, the support could include, environment upgrades and installations, development and maintenance of the production baseline, and management of ready-to-use life cycle environments with correct software configuration management for multiple releases.

• Possess10+ years of professional experience including 5-7 years in the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions in related technical areas.
• Possess specialized industry-specific expertise in computer technologies such as user interfaces, infrastructure management, information management, or transaction processing.
• Experience in upgrading configurations, delivery automation, backlog grooming sessions, ensure program critical risk exposure is minimized for integration.
• Review and validate technical solutions are implemented in a safe, secure, extensible, and scalable environment,
• Establish and document standard operating procedures for technical integration and project/program activities.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C, #C++, JavaScript, SQL) and development frameworks (Spring Framework (Java), Django (Python), .NET Framework (C#), Node.js (JavaScript) Angular / React / Vue.js (JavaScript), Hibernate (Java), Flask (Python), Entity Framework (C#), Bootstrap (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) relevant to the role.
• Familiarity with infrastructure management, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
