Job Title: Senior SAP FI FM Consultant

Responsibilities of the Senior SAP FI FM Consultant
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking a Senior SAP FI FM Consultant to join our team. As a Senior SAP FI FM Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in implementing, customizing, and optimizing SAP financial and funds management modules. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, design, and configure SAP solutions, and ensure successful integration with existing systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance and accounting processes, along with extensive knowledge of SAP Finance and Funds Management modules and related technologies.

The Senior SAP FI FM Consultant will:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their finance and accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP FI FM modules.
• Configure and customize SAP FI FM modules (such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Funds Management, etc.) to meet client needs.
• Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure successful implementation and adherence to business requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to end-users during the deployment and post-implementation phases.
• Conduct training sessions and create user manuals to enable clients to effectively use SAP FI FM modules.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP FI FM modules with other systems and ensure seamless data flow.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP FI FM modules and recommend best practices to clients.
• Identify and resolve issues and provide ongoing support to clients in troubleshooting and resolving system-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an SAP Finance Consultant or in a similar role, implementing and supporting SAP Finance modules.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance modules such as General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), etc.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP Finance modules to meet business requirements.
• In-depth understanding of finance and accounting processes and their integration with SAP systems.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP ECC Finance modules.
• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP or Activate.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP Certification is preferred.
• Active Security Clearance
