Role: Network Security Engineer-PCNSE, CCNA

Location: US/Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

This role will be responsible for operational support of Palo Alto firewalls and Global Protect VPN, as well as Cisco Umbrella Protective DNS

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field working directly with physical and virtual infrastructure
• 3+ years of hand-on experience with networking security hardware from major vendors including Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Checkpoint
• 1+ years of experience deploying and supporting large-scale VPN configurations

Required Skills
• Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching, and basic understanding of dynamic routing protocols (preferably OSPF)
• Hands-on experience managing Palo Alto Network firewalls utilizing Panorama Management Server
• Experience with designing, deploying, and troubleshooting both site-to-site and remote access VPN solutions
• Extensive knowledge of ACLs, NAT/PAT, and QoS
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (bash, python, or powershell)
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Cisco Certification Network Associate (CCNA)
