Accountabilities

• Drive the development and continuous improvement of platform tools, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and monitoring capabilities.
• Design and implement self-service tools that empower engineering teams, promoting efficiency across various platforms.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to ensure platform capabilities are aligned with organizational goals.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and engineering standards for clarity and accessibility.
• Analyze and resolve complex performance issues, implementing scalable solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Research and adopt new technologies that elevate developer productivity and improve self-service capabilities.
• Focus on scalability, performance optimization, and sustainable software delivery for resource effectiveness.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain production environment resilience and high availability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and implementing DevOps solutions with expertise in automation.
• Ability to develop scalable solutions that enable engineering efficiency.
• Expertise in automation practices, integrating tooling into engineering processes.
• Platform-focused mindset for developing reusable patterns that improve productivity.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes or similar frameworks, and ecosystem tools like Helm and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools.
• Proficient in scripting with Python, Bash, or Go, and setting scripting standards.
• Experience developing solutions on cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Strong understanding of monitoring best practices for effective system observability.
