Job Title: Senior QA Enablement Engineer

Location: Workday-aligned to USA/Remote

Duration: Minimum 9 months

Role Objective

Establish standardized, automated, and measurable quality practices across engineering teams. This role drives testing maturity improvements, embeds quality into CI/CD workflows, and enables teams to deploy with confidence and velocity.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities

• Testing Maturity Framework: Create a maturity model, assess each team, and publish a standardized scorecard.
• Quality Metrics & KPIs: Define, track, and publish key metrics including test cycle time, pass rates, and time-to-detect.
• Standardized QA Artifacts: Build reusable templates and pre-release checklists; support CAB-exempt deployment readiness for mature teams.
• Pipeline Integration: Embed smoke, regression, and quality gates directly into Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Golden Paths: Develop opinionated reference architectures for test automation that teams can self-serve.

• 8+ years in QA automation and quality engineering, with experience driving organization-wide standards.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, TestRail, NUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Strong background integrating QA automation and metrics into CI/CD (Azure DevOps required; GitHub Actions a plus).
• Proven ability to audit legacy QA processes and implement "Quality as Code" mechanisms.

• Ability to influence multiple engineering teams and raise testing maturity.
• Self-directed and able to produce documentation, templates, and reference implementations.
• Not a manual QA role.
