Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join their team in New York, NY!

The Engineering Project Manager will oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. This role requires 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail. Candidates with experience in financial services-particularly asset management-and knowledge of enterprise solutions are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple engineering projects within the portfolio, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define project priorities, resource allocation, and dependencies.
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance, communicating status, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in project management and portfolio governance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the portfolio.
• Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and high performance within engineering teams.
• Ensure that all initiatives align with industry regulations and organizational objectives, particularly within financial services and asset management domains.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience managing portfolios or complex technical projects, preferably within financial services or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools, such as Daptiv, Jira, and Confluence.

• Experience in asset management, investment technology, or broader financial services.
• Knowledge of enterprise solutions and how they drive business value.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CFA, or similar) a plus.
• Proven ability to build relationships with both technical and business teams.
