Job Summary
Albida Consulting Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engagement Manager to lead and oversee client projects from inception to successful delivery. This role is pivotal in fostering strong client relationships, ensuring project objectives are met, and driving the overall success of our consulting engagements.
Responsibilities
* **Client Relationship Management:** Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships. Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges, and translate them into actionable project plans.
* **Project Leadership & Delivery:** Lead and manage multiple consulting projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance. Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
* **Team Leadership & Mentorship:** Guide and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Provide constructive feedback, support professional development, and ensure team alignment with project goals.
* **Strategic Advisory:** Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on industry best practices and Albida Consulting's expertise. Identify opportunities for additional value creation and contribute to business development efforts.
* **Financial Management:** Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. Identify potential cost overruns and implement mitigation strategies.
* **Communication & Reporting:** Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams. Prepare and present regular project updates, progress reports, and final deliverables to stakeholders.
* **Process Improvement:** Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management methodologies, client engagement processes, and overall service delivery.
Qualifications
* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant Master's degree is highly desirable.
* **Experience:** Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in consulting, project management, or client-facing roles, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or engagement management capacity.
* **Consulting Acumen:** Proven experience in managing complex client engagements within a consulting environment.
* **Project Management Skills:** Strong understanding and practical application of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
* **Leadership & Communication:** Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
* **Problem-Solving:** Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
* **Business Acumen:** Strong understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and financial principles.
* **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* **Client-Centric:** A strong commitment to client satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
