LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
NON-PARTNERSHIP TRACK

Location: Boston, MA

HYBRID - Telecommuting arrangements may be considered from a home office located in Massachusetts, but Boston is preferred.

Our client, an international AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Attorney to join its Boston team in a salaried, non-partnership track role. This benefits-eligible position offers a reduced billable hour target (1400-1800) and the opportunity to work on sophisticated employment matters for high-profile clients within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Massachusetts, in good standing
• 5+ years of substantive labor & employment experience at a law firm of comparable rank
• Extensive litigation experience, includingdrafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, and handling hearings
• Ability to confidently engage directly with clients and run cases independently, managing deadlines and overseeing case strategy
• Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills, along with demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and a client-service mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation
• Take and defend depositions and engage in motion practice
• Draft discovery and other litigation-related documents, including memoranda, briefs, motions, and pleadings
• Participate in trials and contribute to trial preparation
• Independently progress employment law cases from inception through resolution
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive, client-focused legal solutions
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Annual base salary is expected to range from $150,000 - $275,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
