Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - Class Action
Locations: Texas (Austin, Dallas, or Houston)
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level or Senior Associate Attorney tojoin their Labor and Employment Class Action Group in Texas. This hybrid position is available in the Austin, Dallas, or Houston offices.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Texas.
- 4-6 years of substantive experience in employment or class action litigation, with a desire for trial work.
- Experience defending employment discrimination, EEOC/DOL, wage and hour claims, including class action lawsuits.
- Background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and assisting clients with general employment issues is a plus.
- Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Defend employers in complex employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and discrimination claims.
- Counsel clients on compliance with federal and Texas employment laws and regulations.
- Draft and prepare workplace policies, employment agreements, and severance agreements.
- Represent clients in depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparations.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on high-profile employment cases.
