Job Description:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Education team is seeking a Technical Writer to develop and manage curriculum on ML and Generative AI.
• This role demands a unique blend of technical writing expertise, in-depth understanding ofthe AI/ML domain space, and hands-on experience with developer tools and file formats.
• You will play a pivotal role in empowering our workforce to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Map existing Responsible AI workflows by consulting with identified PoCs.
• Use knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence systems to develop documentation and educational materials that guide product teams on how to accomplish different AI/ML projects.
• Produce clear, succinct, and well-organized educational materials that meet the needs of a technical audience.
• Develop an understanding of the project constraints, scoping work, communicating content creation plans, and securing buy-in from stakeholders.
• Determine the right level of detail for complex technical information and write technical documentation; collaborate with subject matter experts on iterations of content drafts.
• Manage community-driven docs and drive active contributions.
• Review, revise, modify, or edit documents prepared by researchers, engineers, and policy experts.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to improve quality and increase adoption of published information.
• Use knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence systems to develop documentation and educational materials that guide product teams on how to accomplish different AI/ML projects.
• Research, establish, and enforce guidance in alignment with company strategy and tooling roadmap.
• Develop, mobilize, and execute a knowledge management strategy for a growing/changing complex domain space.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in technical learning design, technical writing, Edtech, or technical program management.
• Experience writing python, markdown, and protobuf files.
• Experience working in developer toolchains, version control systems, and code repositories.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Solid understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and applications. Experience with AI development tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Track record of managing complex technical projects and delivering results on time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
