Position: Financial Services Manager - Patient Financial Services

Location: Fully Remote - Must reside in PST time zone
Duration: 13 Weeks/ 3 Months

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8 shift)

Job Summary:
The Financial Services Manager is responsible for supervising Patient Financial Services staff, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections of accounts receivables through Epic Resolute Hospital Billing system and SSI clearinghouse. This role oversees daily team operations, monitors productivity and quality, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations. The Manager will provide training, support professional development, and administer corrective actions when needed. Additionally, they will review workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support Patient Financial Services staff in billing and collections.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff.
• Administer disciplinary action, when necessary, in alignment with company policies.
• Oversee and optimize workflows, implementing process improvements.
• Ensure all billing and collection activities meet federal, state, and payer requirements.

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • 5 years of experience in patient financial services, billing, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and SSI clearinghouse strongly preferred.
